In a competitive finale, Young Bertie is selected ahead of Peruvian Style and Currency. Night Prospector looked to be coming back to form last time and cannot be ruled out on that basis. Currency comes here in good heart and goes well for an apprentice rider. Young Bertie signalled a return to form under today's rider at Lingfield. Charming Ballet can be given claims based on his best form and a good young rider is on board. Capricho could have dropped to an interesting mark, and Peruvian Style has been running well from today's mark of late and is another whose chance has to be respected. Finally, Contented is unexposed at today's trip and is no forlorn hope. Neither is Mister Elegant, who has gone well for today's rider in the past. Once again, though, the selection is Young Bertie.
