Verdict

Saeed Bin Suroor has won this six times in the past eleven years though it's difficult to see Quick Wit carrying on the sequence but GRANDEUR should be good enough. Jeremy Noseda's charge is better than Listed class judged on his two Grade 2 victories in the USA and his close second to Mukhadram at the same level at York. Three-year-olds don't have a brilliant record in the race but it can be done and Sugar Boy, who never looked happy in the Irish Derby after beating Eye Of The Storm in in Sandown's Classic Trial, is no forlorn hope against his elders. Brown Panther takes a huge drop in trip after his very impressive victory in the Cup here and a penalty makes things even more difficult but Gabrial is well up to this level and could snatch a place at a fair price.
