A couple with racecourse experience stand out in a field mostly made up of newcomers. Lanark ran well when second over track and trip and should be in the mix but LANGAVAT occupied the same finishing position in a better race at Ascot a fortnight ago. Richard Hannon's colt is fancied to go one better in this but Mime Dance will need a big step up on his debut third at Salisbury to figure. The selections stablemates Munfallet and Under My Wing are newcomers to note along with Ben Hall, although Extra Noble's breeding suggests he'll do better once tackling longer trips.
