Verdict

Blessed Place has a 4lb penalty for his win last time and there may be something better treated in this line-up; ENODOC ran too badly to be true last time and we'll give him a chance to atone for that run. William Muir's three-year-old has a course and distance success to his name and had been holding his form well all season until last week at Newmarket. Not given a hard time when defeat was inevitable, he is fancied to resume winning ways with a good claimer booked. Dancing Mystery is a game old-timer but his swansong cannot be far away judged on recent efforts, Night Prospector is consistent enough but his wins come in less competitive races, whilst Great Fox needs watching in the betting after two years off the track. Compton Rose tends to pull too hard so despite looking fairly treated she needs to learn to settle, so a bigger danger may be Seven Royals whose maiden runs look solid. Mr Funshine is another who joins Blessed Place on the shortlist; however it is Enodoc who gets the vote.
