Verdict

A very competitive handicap in which a number of top yards are represented. Madeed had Pupil and Examiner behind when third over course and distance last month and warrants respect. First Flight won at Newmarket last month and is preferred to Godolphin's other runner, Personal Opinion, while Bureau is a tough sort who was only beaten a neck at Nottingham nine days ago off today's mark. Raise Your Gaze and Good Value have a chance at the weights but it may be worth giving another chance to BLACK SHADOW, who had looked progressive prior to being held up well off the pace over 1m4f here last time.
