    Verdict

BEST INTENT may not be a superstar (at this stage of her career at least) however she looks like this trip will bring about more improvement and is fancied to see off Norse Dame, Scorn and Ship's Biscuit in a terrific fillies' maiden. Although not guaranteed to stay this trip on breeding, the selection has shaped as if it will suit given her one-paced third to Akinoshirabe at Newcastle last month. She faces stiff opposition however, especially from Ship's Biscuit. Her third to Fatanah at Sandown is working out well (winner Listed placed and far from disgraced in the Ribblesdale) and with the longer trip likely to suit this half-sister to Hi Calypso and Warringah she looks a huge danger. Zinjbar returns from a mini-break but she is more exposed than her rivals, and a bigger danger should be the 80-rated Scorn. John Gosden's daughter of Seeking The Gold has some very solid form to her name and was unlucky to bump into a very progressive rival at Salisbury last time; she should go close with the trip in range. Norse Dame's (distant) second to Mujdeya reads well and improvement is expected as she develops, whilst Businessmoney Judi contested some good bumper races but looks a level below this grade. Best Intent is just the tentative selection.
