In depth

Verdict

Blue Java can land this at the expense of Cross The Line and Watertree Warrior. The selection has been in good heart of late finishing an eye catching second on his racecourse reappearance and then following up by winning and beating Treasure House by a length at Salisbury. That form looks good enough to win this so he is worth siding with again. Cross The Line has been running well in defeat of late. He looked a touch unlucky at Kempton last time out and was only beaten half a length by Quantum Leap that day so he is worth noting. As is Watertree Warrior who is burdened with top weight to carry but has been running consistently well of late winning at Windsor before finishing second of fifteen at Bath last time out. He can run well again but for the winner we return to Blue Java.
