Verdict

TRACHONITIS is taken to prove the derailing mechanism to Point Of Light's relentless progress though Maslak is also respected. John Jenkins' yard are in form at present and this dual purpose performer confirmed his liking for the course and distance when obliging here earlier in the year. Point Of Light is typical of his trainer's handling. A winner of seven contests on the spin, he landed the odds at Beverley on Sunday and it would be a brave man that wished to oppose him going in again. Maslak is lower rated on turf than on artificial surfaces. He is something of a law unto himself but if consenting to put his best foot forward, he will give his backers a very solid run for their money. Holden Eagle stayed on well at Warwick and this step up in trip is a move that is worth trying. Come April won a maiden on debut for Sir Mark Prescott and now makes a reappearance for Paul Webber after a substantial absence. Buddy Holly is not sure to stay this trip whilst Pelham Crescent will not want to see any rain forecast and Gross Prophet seems to do his winning in claimers. Trachonitis is selected in a decent puzzle for punters to solve.
