Verdict

The presence of TWICE OVER appears to have scared off much of the opposition and he can take this race at the expense of Perfect Stride. The colt appeared to enjoy his drop back to listed company have tilted at Group 1 prizes earlier on in the season and a repeat of his Doncaster effort should suffice. Perfect Stride won a listed handicap at Ascot. He has raced a little keenly in the early stages of the career. He seems ideally suited by a mile though opportunities of this nature are few and far between. Fanjura has been forced out of handicaps and into listed company by default. Life is going to be tougher nowadays. Re Barolo appears best on artificial surfaces and while capable, he seems to have his own ideas about the game. Montaff looks outclassed. Twice Over can take this pot en route to bigger close season targets.
