A trappy affair and Distant Charm rates a token selection against Bailey, Pearl Dealer and Unbreak My Heart. The selection has struggled in nurseries previously but those efforts were on faster going and with Richard Hughes aboard the proven soft going performer, more can be anticipated. Bailey has struggled to get his head infront but appears able to cope with pretty much any terrain. He all but had a previous outing at Goodwood in the bag only to find his pocket picked in the final stages. Pearl Dealer's victory came at Wolverhampton. This was a fair maiden by the track's standards and he cannot be discounted as a consequence. Giant Love has yet to experience testing conditions but his yard have sent out winners this week. Unbreak My Heart won well last time out. The handicapper has had enough chance to look at him and has allocated a mark of 83. Seeking Star invariably travels well in his races but has a tough task to see off allcomers from topweight. Close To Paradise is much better than her recent form suggests and should have few problems with trip or going as a daughter of Clodovil. Plenty of plausible winners but we take a punt with Distant Charm.
