Championship Point is more than capable of springing a surprise in this contest but Mick Channon's five-year-old faces no easy task against BANKABLE, who is hard to oppose and gets the verdict ahead of the improving Lady Deauville. The last mentioned looks the pick of the three-year-olds and comes into this having won Listed races in each of her last two starts, both with cut in the ground, and she has to be respected. John Dunlop's Muthabara will have no problems with the underfoot conditions and may do better than of late now that she tackles her favoured ground. Peter Chapple-Hyam's Declaration of War showed decent form as a two-year-old but has clearly had his problems this term having only had the one start back in April and he looks best watched at present. Mark Johnston's Drumfire is probably better on faster ground and the vote goes to Luca Cumani's Bankable, who is a confirmed soft ground performer, comes into this in decent form and he is hard to oppose.
