    Verdict

A competitive race in which Linda Green is chanced against Inch By Inch and Dash of Lime. Linda Green has risen in the weight of late but she continues in good heart. She is less likely to run into a progressive type in this grade so it is understandable that they are keeping her away from the colts. A likeable individual, she is worth another chance from a reasonable draw. Inch By Inch has been a credit to connections in recent weeks. There is the suspicion that she is better over 5f than 6f but we cannot fault her recent runs and if she is still progressing, the market will doubtless reflect. Nephetriti Way is a course and distance winner. She paid the penalty for having some useful juvenile form and is at least in receipt of some respite from the handicapper at the moment. Dash of Lime's Lingfield win came when the rain had really started to get into the ground. It can be safely assumed that conditions were much more testing than stated. Cerulean Rose would have claims of reversing form with Linda Green on their Bath meeting but Cerulean Rose has proved frustrating and fairly expensive to follow. David Bridgewater has suggested that Red Sovereign is now back to her best. She has been done few favours tonight by the draw allocation. Of the remainder, Rockburst is back to a winning mark and has a good jockey booked. Linda Green secures the nod.
