    Verdict

Not a great deal to go on but we will chance Kings Cavalier at the likely short odds with Nahaar and Rochdale fancied to show improvement. Officially rated 77, Kings Cavalier does at least have the benefit of course experience. That could count for a lot here and we will award him the selection on that basis. Nahaar went much too fast in the opening stages of his Newbury maiden. It will be interesting to see which tactics are employed here. Rochdale never showed at Leicester but must be better than that form. Keel shaped promisingly on debut but may still need this. Stormy Monday is bred to want further while Thomas A Beckett is related to a number of six and seven furlong specialists. Kings Cavalier is hardly banker material but he has less negatives than most.
