Verdict

Noel Chance's Mister New York has shown improved form on the Polytrack since last being seen on turf in June of last year and he could be of interest on his first run since February having dropped to a mark of 80 but lack of decent form on turf is a concern and more solid claims are held by Mark Johnston's Bath winner, Nave, who ran too badly to be true at Southwell recently but he may not have handled the surface and did stumble badly at the start there. William Knight's Missionaire ran better at Ascot last time and the consistent performer makes more appeal than Rockfella, who could probably do with some help from the handicapper. Several of these have chances in a competitive event but it might just be worth siding with Luca Cumani's FANDITHA, who should come on for his Doncaster reappearance run in June and improve for the return to 1m4f.
