Daboos was a ready scorer in Folkestone maiden company but the handicapper has taken few chances allotting him a mark of 79 for his first run in this sphere, so we'll stick with GIFTED APAKAY. Ed Dunlop's filly took a while to get off the mark, but did so on soft ground at Newcastle last time. This trip is ideal and she does act on fast ground, so with just a 3lb rise to contend with she might have enough improvement to follow-up. Very Well Red is back on the mark of her Redcar win in July, although she looked badly out of sorts in her last two runs and is passed over this time. Conditions and trip will suit Abhar, who has useful claimer Kieren Fox up and should be very competitive. Compton Blue is now back on a winning mark and relishes fast ground. An open heat where Gifted Apakay may be able to find what is required.
