    Verdict

Plenty of guesswork needed here but BALADY finished behind subsequent Nell Gwyn fourth Starscope at Newmarket on her final start at two and gets the token vote on that basis. Poole Harbour wasn't disgraced on his reappearance at HQ and is preferred to Anya while Ta Ajabb and Charles Tyrwhitt seemed to handle the soft ground on their respective debuts without looking like winning. The 100,000gns colt Unex Annigoni makes his debut and the betting may give the best clue to his chances.
