Verdict

John Gosden is looking to land this for the fourth time in succession and runs Bright Approach, Jazzi Top and Star Of Seville. The latter pair were both well beaten in the Oaks at Epsom but Star Of Seville has subsequently won the French Oaks at Chantilly. Newmarket's 1000 Guineas heroine Legatissimo has been unlucky since then suffering a narrow-margin defeat in the Oaks and again in the Pretty Polly at the Curragh when caught close home by Diamondsandrubies. The latter is preferred to stablemate Wedding Vow but it could be the turn of Epsom Oaks third LADY OF DUBAI (NAP) in this. Luca Cumani's filly has a couple of lengths to find with Legatissimo but looks capable of doing so having only her third start of the year and she should be bang there at the finish. French raider Cladocera finished ahead of Arabian Queen at Ascot in June but both have something to prove stepping up in trip.
