Verdict

Desertmore Stream is penalised for his two victories over timber which gives him plenty to do in this very tight looking affair and he could also do with the ground easing. Draycott Place is another dual winner but he was behind Icy Reply at Tipperary. That winner is a thorough stayer who will be suited by a likely strong gallop and her allowances should see her enter the equation. Ground Invasion has been impressive in winning two bumpers and, as a triple point-to-point winner, should have no problems jumping. PINK HAT needs good ground to show her best as she's only small so if the rain arrives she can be taken on but in the expectation that the going remains good she can add to the two victories she gained in early summer.
