Verdict

Tony Martin is already off the mark at the Festival and the four-year-old Greatness will be fancied to take this from the bottom of the handicap though this is easily his toughest assignment to date. A P McCoy's presence on Golden Ticket suggests the recent Killarney winner is expected to make a bold bid while The Black Russian generally strikes form around this time of the year, as he did at Kilbeggan a couple of weeks ago. In A Nutshell stepped up to 2m5f to score at Limerick but he's won over the minimum and with a fast gallop almost guaranteed he'll be competitive though the vote goes to ANCIENT SANDS. Joanna Morgan's charge was in tremendous form throughout last summer over hurdles and on the Flat. He suffered in the weights as a consequence but looked on the way back at the Curragh last month and can return to winning ways.
