Verdict

CHICAGO GREY has been in fine form recently and will take some beating. Gordon Elliott's charge beat Prince Erik in a beginners' event at The Festival before failing to justify favouritism in a much stronger race won by Glantara at Killarney. He wasn't beaten far that evening and should have no problems taking care of Nintytwo Team, who was 19l behind in fourth. Lucky At Last could prove more of a threat as he won easily over fences in June and looked the winner when slipping up on the Flat when reverting to hurdles at Kilbeggan last time. Winning point-to-pointer Covie Lad is laden with stamina as he showed over 3m1f at Kilbeggan and a couple of these may prove too quick on this fast ground.
