Verdict

One Cool Tornado was due to run in the 5.05 here last night and faces a much stiffer task here against the very useful SILVERHAND. Noel Meade's charge hasn't won as often as his talent would suggest over hurdles but his victory in a tough handicap at the Galway Festival showed him to be in great heart and he finished runner-up in a Listed event on the Flat at the Curragh last weekend. Duroob was getting almost a stone from Silverhand at Galway and was beaten almost eight lengths which suggests he is playing for a place at best and Conem was in moderate form when last seen in the spring. Tulachsarain is very much at home in testing conditions which he is unlikely to get today.
