Verdict

Unusually, this has never been a favourite race of the Dermot Weld operation but that shouldn't preclude another Festival success here with ADDRESS UNKNOWN. Beaten just a head in a Listed contest here last August, he's well clear on official ratings and should add to his trainer's already outstanding tally at the meeting. The big threat is Fleur De Nuit, who landed a Ballinrobe bumper in May before an astonishing 13l victory in a maiden there over tonight's trip. The going was soft on that occasion but she handles quicker ground and it will be interesting to see how she performs. The Bull Hayes is a very useful performer at around this trip on the Flat and is fit from hurdling but the remainder will need to show marked improvement to trouble the principals.
