Verdict

This is one of the few races at the Festival not dominated by Dermot Weld but there's no doubt Daffern Seal has been earmarked for this after his facile victory over hurdles in a Kilbeggan maiden. He's certain to have been well schooled for his chasing debut and could turn out to be very useful. The UK entry Strong Soul made all over three miles all on fast ground at Worcester but this is much tougher and MR NOSIE looks the one to beat as he ran very well behind Sweeps Hill at Punchestown. The former Grade 1 winning hurdler is getting back to his best after a five-year break. Traffic Article is slowly getting the hang of things and stayed on strongly when runner-up to Darenjan at Killarney and useful point-to-pointer Twin Joy ran very well on only his third start over regulation fences behind Salesin at Wexford.
