Verdict

Rock And Roll Kid, who scored last year at 6/1, was the first favourite to win for 10 years and with Anthony Mullins' in tremendous form and the ground now in his favour, the five-year-old must be a threat to all. Maundy Money, beaten 2l into second, likes the track and must be considered at the revised weights. Richard Fahey has been carrying all before him in the UK and his Extraterrestrial can make his presence felt as he has been finding the ground too fast in his recent races. He's on a 1lb lower mark than when successful at Ayr in September and should get competitive. The three-year-old Atasari has been competing at a very high level including the 1000 Guineas at the Curragh and Jim Bolger wouldn't have entered here without god cause. IF PER CHANCE ran well at the fixture a year ago and returned to form in tremendous fashion at Killarney a fortnight ago. Connections won't be pleased with a 12lbs rise but a seven-length victory suggests he could be capable of defying the extra burden. The very consistent Mujaazef should get involved though he keeps rising the weights without winning.
