Verdict

Final Approach beat Fearnwood Girl a long way at Downpatrick in March and a recent run on the Flat will have put him straight for this. Rock County's two victories at Tramore early in the summer were gained on fast ground and the forecast rain may not be in his favour. Asigh Pearl looks one to follow this season though she might just need the run after a break and Lend A Hand Son, who ran a fine race behind Green For Gold at Cork a week ago, is a more likely danger to DUSTY TRAIL, who has been in excellent form on the Flat and over hurdles this summer and is still well enough handicapped to score again.
