Verdict

Mirador Del Conde won this last year but was in much better form at the time and is 3lb higher. Venture Lazarus, who pulled up in all starts between the flags, was a shock winner in a beginners' chase over the C&D in July but has been well beaten subsequently. BURNT OIL BABE isn't the easiest of rides and doesn't want to be in front too soon. She was always travelling well before beating Good Decision over 2m4f at Punchestown and though the runner-up is better at this trip the winner can confirm the form and take this. The versatile Second Glance continues to perform with credit but could have done without a 4lb rise for her narrow defeat by Westmeath Bachelor at Sligo.
