In depth

Verdict

A tough handicap but RISING TIME should give us a good run provided she's over that first-fence fall over the larger obstacles at Wexford a week ago. Her close second to Clarach at Sligo in May was a cracking effort and she looks certain to go well. Our Nana Rose could hardly be in better shape having completed a double over timber before scoring on the Flat at Bellewstown. She's capable of better and her handicap mark of 115 doesn't reflect her ability. Shadow Eile has plenty of weight but is a classy performer at her best as she demonstrated when landing a Grade 2 novice hurdle at Fairyhouse in April. She scored on the Flat subsequently, ran quite well on the level here on Monday, and beat three rivals over 1m6f on Friday night.
