In depth

Verdict

Some smart bumpers here but DEVILS BRIDE has looked an outstanding prospect in both starts and, though carrying a penalty, looks the one to beat. Dermot Weld has kept Grecian Tiger back for this and he is an obvious threat. A close third in a Limerick Listed contest, he didn't run as well as expected when tackling Grade 1 company at the Punchestown Festival but with his allowances will ensure the selection doesn't have things his own way. Some Officer finally got off the mark at Sligo but will need another couple of gears against the two principals though he could still prove best of the remainder.
