Verdict

Moonbi Creek had a chance in the 6.40 last night and his trainer has won this for the past two years. He would have an obvious chance if turning out again. Xsquared has been running very well over slightly further and will be staying on strongly while Eighteen Summers was going on at the finish over 1m4f last time so it's strange to see him back over this trip. Curl Cat has only won once in 18 starts on Turf so this can go to the veteran TOUFAN EXPRESS. He's run well at this meeting in the past and has a course success over 7f to his credit. He's been in very good form on ground softer than he'd have liked and has dropped to such a lowly mark that he can land the eighth victory of his career.
