Verdict

We can't desert KALELLSHAN, who did us a big favour on Monday when landing a real touch in a similar class event to this over 2m He'd also won twice at the Festival in 2010 so is no stranger to doubling up and even with his 6lb penalty will be very hard to beat with Mark Enright once again taking the reins. Ballyhoura was having only his sixth start over timber when scoring at Wexford and is well enough weighted to make his presence felt. First Impressions has been going along nicely and looked in very good shape when beating Zaralabad comfortably at Limerick. Beau Michael has been in excellent form on the Flat and can race from a much lower mark over hurdles than fences and along with the veteran Lough Ferrib, another who has been in winning form on the Flat, he can get into the mix. Experimentalist was due to run here yesterday.
