In depth

Verdict

Woolfall Treasure is a decent stayer on the Flat but his stamina over this extreme trip has to be taken on trust. Midnight Fun's bid for a five-timer may have been thwarted by a massive hike in the weights, while Haldibari has gone up 3lb for a narrow win at Uttoxeter. William Hogarth, who beat Scotsbrook Cloud over 3m at Ffos Las last month, is still fairly treated on his best form, however, and could be the biggest threat to TAE KWON DO. The latter has been in good form over fences and beat today's rival Princely Hero over the smaller obstacles over 2m7f here in August. Snake Charmer is consistent but has been well beaten off this mark lately and progressive staying chaser Rey Nacarado returns from a break. Shammy Buskins stays well but it's always a gamble on whether he'll consent to line-up with others so he's passed over here.
