We are finishing with a handicap hurdle and hopefully SONNING STAR can send us home happy at the expense of Buffalo Stampede and Wizard Of Odds. Nick Gifford is one of the tracks top trainers and Sonning Star has a good chance in going in here. The selection flopped on his latest start but the ground was softer than ideal that day and should relish the quicker conditions today. Liam Treadwell's mount has top form behind the likes of Craic Away Jack and this is considerably easier. He has top weight to contend with but his front running style should be seen to good effect round here. Buffalo Stampede put in an improved effort on his latest start and rates the biggest danger from the right end of the handicap. Wizard Of Odds is a consistent type so he should again go well but hopefully Sonning Star will be a star and send us home happy.
