Verdict

AWARD WINNER finally took advantage of a plunge down the weights to land a gamble at Wincanton last week. He looks the main reason why AP McCoy is at the track today and should have few problems following up under a penalty against largely out-of-form opposition. Oscar Baby did win at Fakenham last season but his only two decent runs have come at that track while the returning Wheres Johnny has an affinity with Plumpton and all three of his victories have been there. Jerry Lee has two ways of running and, like the others, has plenty to prove at present.
