City Affair can defy another penalty against the likes of Maree Hall, Cave Of The Giant, Canopus and He's The Gaffer. Since teaming up with Richard Johnson, City Affair has gained back-to-back victories at Bangor this month, going from a mark of 88 to 112 in the process. The handicapper will certainly have his measure soon, but he lines up in such good heart, that he has to be followed on this quick reappearance. Cave Of The Giant has been fancied on more than one occasion, and in truth has been disappointing, and a bigger danger may be Canopus who has been knocking on the door. However, he has to give weight to plenty of older rivals, while of the rest, He's The Gaffer, better treated than over fences, at least lines up fresh after a break. Maree Hall is still trying to break his duck, and it remains to be seen how he will cope with the fast ground, so it is best to stick with City Affair in the finale.
