In depth

Verdict

Marie Deja La was out of the handicap when unshipping her rider at the last when well clear here two weeks ago and looks certain to make a bold bid for compensation off her correct mark. Small Fly won a seller at Taunton and this is tougher while Orvita's only career victory came over the C&D on very heavy ground. Award Winner has been badly out of form since his C&D victory in September while Golan Guy had very little chance against Hunt Ball in a better race at Kempton after landing a novice chase at Plumpton. MR MUDDLE was in fine form at this time a year ago winning at Folkestone and Plumpton. He returned from a long break with a decent effort last month and with that under his belt looks set to regain the winning thread.
