Pippa Greene was a decent handicapper on the Flat but has been a beaten favourite in his last three starts over hurdles and found one too good on every occasion. He may not be much in the way of value here after a lay-off. Slightly Tanned, third at Chepstow on his only start over timber, also returns from a lengthy absence so we'll take the pair on with MAHAYOGIN. Charlie Mann's gelding could improve for the fitting of blinkers and his best runs so far have come when there has been give in the ground. Clowance House has been chasing and has his first run for Barry Brennan today but Littledean Jimmy is a consistent sort, though his future probably lies in handicaps.
