Verdict

Tri Nations ended a long losing run at Stratford last month but was well beaten off his new mark at Newton Abbot and may struggle to get back on track here. The shorter trip and sharp track may not suit another recent Stratford scorer Rudigreen so the vote goes to the novice ZAMA ZAMA. He's been a little disappointing since winning over hurdles at Newton Abbot in May last year but probably still has some scope over fences, which is more than you can say for most of his rivals. First Morning won over hurdles last month but then finished tailed off at Worcester and was pulled up on his fencing bow.
