Verdict

Another Chat and Victree are two of the more obvious contenders in this modest contest whilst Lucky Luk has been in fair form of late. Another Chat may be able to make the most of the weight that he receives. Richard Phillips' charge has yet to score but he's been running well enough in similar contests to suggest that he may be able to land a race of this nature. He's versatile with regard to ground conditions and has been given every possible chance by the handicapper. Victree doesn't always look to be the safest conveyance but he has found some form of late at a modest level. Conditions should be okay for him and he could be hard to keep out of the frame but he lacks a decisive turn of foot at the end of his races. Lucky Luk didn't appear to see out the 3 mile 5 trip at Warwick last time but his previous form reads well in the context of this race and the handicapper has been realistic in his assessment. Throw the talented Felix De Giles' claim into the mix and he looks to have a fair chance. Those are just three who could go well in this contest and our suggestion is Another Chat.
