Verdict

This is likely to develop into a real war of attrition and that will suit ALWAYS BOLD. Martin Keighley's was a dual C&D winner on soft ground around this time last year and was only beaten half-a-length by Akbabend over 2m7f here last month. Kahsabelle continued her revival with a head second at Newton Abbot but is 5lb higher now while Heezagrey is starting to creep up the weights again as well and would prefer better going. Amazing Valour is a hard ride and may also be back in the handicapper's grip but it will be interesting to see if there is any money for Champion Versions as he's surely better than he's shown so far.
