Verdict

IF I HAD HIM finally got off the mark over hurdles at Taunton in November and wasn't disgraced when fifth over 2m at Wincanton last time. He shaped as though today's longer trip would suit on that occasion and George Baker's seven-year-old looks capable of taking this lesser contest. Rimini had been in fine form until the turn of the year but has failed to complete his last two starts and Erdeli, who went close at Newton Abbot last summer, could prove a bigger threat. French import Sawago has won over timber at Enghien and is worth noting on his first start for Gary Moore.
