Beaten only a head by previous winner Mintiverdi on his debut in a bumper, CAPTAIN KIRKTON trounced the opposition on last month's hurdling bow at Lingfield. Gary Moore's charge looks a decent hurdler in the making and can take this before going on to better things. Featherbed Lane is another going the right way judged on his recent win at Leicester and he looks a bigger threat than Get It On who carries a 10lb penalty for winning a couple of races at Market Rasen late last year.
