Omaruru has shown enough in placed efforts over hurdles to suggest he's capable of winning a race of this nature and he has to come into the reckoning, but KUILSRIVER may prove too good here. Placed in a bumper last year, he finished runner-up to Kazzene on his recent hurdling debut at Kempton and can improve enough to take this. Cuckoo Rock finished some way behind the selection last time but Freckle Face produced his best effort when second over C&D back in October and he looks a threat.
