In depth

Verdict

Liam Corcoran has his string in good order at present and it would come as no surprise to see his representative Mr Maxim take a hand here but Isam Top looks the percentage call and is preferred ahead of Brave Jo. The last mentioned has had plenty of chances off similar marks of late and could probably do with some help from the handicapper so may be best watched. Gary Moore's runners always warrant respect here but Misbehaviour would need to improve on recent form to trouble the judge and of more interest may be Paul Keane's Barton Gate, if fit enough for his return. Isam Top escapes a penalty for a win here under testing conditions in a conditional jockeys' handicap last month and he is hard to oppose.
