Verdict

Just Beware is likely to give value seekers a good run for their money and is selected to land it for the Davison family. The selection is not the most prolific of winners but is consistent and while she needs things to fall her way, that is the case with many in this. Island Light returned after a fifteen month break last time to finish second to finish second behind the well backed Dalaram. The livelier ground will suit Alison Thorpe's charge, with whom Richard Johnson has established a good record this season. Winsley Hill and Dream Catcher are others who can be given big chances on recent form although Winsley Hill continues to scale the weights. Silver Adonis was a smart bumper performer in Ireland for Philip Rothwell and if the market speaks in his favour he would be of major interest but Just Beware is selected to win it.
