        Verdict

        Salsa Steps is selected here ahead of Hazytoo and, possibly, Royal Choir. The hightest rated of the field, Salsa Steps has shown a good level of form in just four racecourse appearances. She looks to have been found a reasonable opening here and looks to be the one to beat. Hazytoo put a disappointing Windsor behind him with his second placing at Warwick last time and a repeat of that puts him on the premises, while Tarkamara has earned a rating in the low 70s which, again, entitles her to some thought. Finally, Clive Brittain's Royal Choir is a potential improver following her reappearance run, while the Roger Charlton-trained Thermidor showed promise on his Thirsk debut and, less exposed than most of his rivals, could well build significantly on that. The selection, though, is Salsa Steps.
