Verdict

Runner-up on his chasing debut at Fakenham last April, Quilver Tatou filled the same position behind Massini Sunset on his reappearance at Lingfield earlier this month. Charlie Mann's seven-year-old is probably the one to beat but we liked the way JECZMIEN on his first start over the larger obstacles at Lingfield in November, despite finishing last of five finishers. Nick Gifford's charge is likely to have gleaned considerable benefit from that run and has more scope than Vic's World, who hasn't run since June. Chasing newcomer Nomadic Warrior may be best of the rest.
