Rose of Petra is bred to be useful but Sir Michael Stoute's filly has yet to live up to her breeding and at likely odds looks worth taking on with preference for Musical Beat, who gets the vote over Cavort. The last mentioned disappointed at Southwell last time but has solid claims on earlier form so has to be considered. Boogie Dancer made an encouraging reappearance at Sandown last month and would have to be respected if rain arrived. Harvest Joy has given little sign of encouragement in two starts this term but Rod Millman has his string in better form now. More solid claims though are held by Musical Beat though who has shown progressive form and promises to stay this longer trip.
