    Verdict

The recent consistency of top weight Gold Story can't be faulted but George Baker's four-year-old remains a maiden after 12 starts and is rated 8lb higher on turf than on the all-weather. Crystallize won at Kempton in February but his best form is over further while Diddums is in the midst of a long losing sequence, though hasn't been running too badly since the turn of the year. THOUGHTSOFSTARDOM is also looking to end a barren spell but Phil McEntee's gelding is much better on turf than the all-weather and his last victory came over this C&D on good to firm ground. The eight-year-old is 6lb lower in the weights today and can give the promising Leonna Mayor another winner.
