In depth

Verdict

RINCE DONN ran out a lucky winner over C&D last week after the two horses in front of him at the last fence made a mess of it and handed him the race. However, Roger Curtis' charge did have Bearneen Boy well behind on that occasion and is fancied to take this less competitive event on merit. Sourchamp was in the process of running a big race when falling at the third last at Taunton last week and could figure if staying on his feet, while Betty Browneyes has shown improvement in a couple of starts over the larger obstacles and has place claims.
