Kadouchski finished second under today's young pilot at Kempton last month but has been raised 3lb for that effort and may now be too close in the weights to SWORDSMAN. Chris Gordon's gelding runs his best races around here and, though below par lately, has now dropped to a very attractive mark and can give weight to some equally exposed rivals. Winning hurdler Whitcombe Spirit would prefer a much softer surface while King Kieran finished tailed off at Kempton last time and looks likely to remain a maiden for the foreseeable future.
